Hub City Kids
At Hub City Kids, our mission is to promote community involvement, local activities, health, and creativity for kids in Spartanburg.  We use visual reminders on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter to keep parents up to date with exciting things happening in Spartanburg while also providing creative ways to enjoy the many beautiful places in Spartanburg County.

We are Sarah Kate Abee and Katie Burnett-childhood friends, Spartanburg natives, and moms of preschoolers with hearts for serving children.  This, combined with our professions in the fields of early childhood education and pediatric occupational therapy, gives us a unique perspective and understanding of the importance of keeping kids active and involved in the community.  As we searched for quality activities for our own children, we saw the need for an easy to access resource for parents that compiles local events and opportunities for kids.

A few things you can expect to find on our site includes: pictures of kids' activities in the Spartanburg community, healthy snack ideas, “boredom busters,” scavenger hunts for local trails, and kid friendly community service ideas. While our passion at Hub City Kids is sharing all of the awesome free activities already happening in our community, we also offer advertising services for businesses that align with our four areas of focus.

You can find Hub City Kids at the Hub City Farmer’s Market the third Saturday of each month, bringing you healthy food ideas for kids, fun games, and resources for local kids' activities. Follow us on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter and make sure to visit our tent at the Farmer’s Market!
