Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC) of the Carolinas has a new website, located at www.rmhc-carolinas.org. The new website comes on the heels of the House recently opening its expansion in June.
RMHC® of the Carolinas worked with Engenius, a local digital marketing agency, to create the new website. The new site showcases RMHC® of the Carolinas brand, mission and vision through vibrant video, pictures and content. Updates from the original site include organized information on how to stay at the House, how to give back, and a new online giving page.
“We are excited to debut this website to our donors and friends,” said Marti Spencer, CEO/Executive Director of RMHC® of the Carolinas. “This new website comes at the perfect time for us as we recently opened our doors to a new expansion and are now able to serve 24 families at a time. We are growing and our website needed to reflect the growth and progress RMHC© of the Carolinas has made over the years. It now features all the ways for our community to get involved and give back.”
RMHC of the Carolinas website appeals to two main audiences, individuals, families and healthcare providers that need to use the House’s services and individuals looking to get involved, give back and volunteer. The website is now organized by these two sections and allows ease of access to necessary information.
RMHC of the Carolinas’ mission is to keep families with critically ill or injured children close to each other and the care and resources they need in our community; while providing a home filled with hope, encouragement and comfort. We find and support programs that directly improve the health and wellbeing of children. Since 1989, the Chapter has provided support to more than 11,000 families through the Ronald McDonald House program. More than a room, the House serves as a quiet place for families to be alone or as a place of companionship, sharing and emotional support with other families who are also caring for a sick child being treated at nearby medical facilities.
