The Perfect Sun-Kissed Glow: St. Tropez Bronzing Mousse

Are you looking for the perfect sun-kissed glow? Look no further than St. Tropez! I rave about this product because it builds a natural looking tan gradually and streak free.

I’ve had spray tans in the past before events but have always struggled with looking too dark and sometimes even orange. I’ve tried a few different self-tanners over the years such as Jergens and Nkd Skn, but St. Tropez is hands down the best. You can find it at Ulta, the large bottle is $42. I know, it’s pricey, but the bottle can last for months.

My tips for application? I always apply before bed and make sure that I have shaved my legs, exfoliated, and moisturized that morning. The mousse is best to apply with the mitt (sold separately) in a circular motion, keeping it light in areas such as ankles, elbows, knees, and wrists. Warning: it can rub off on clothes and sheets.  I put a towel down over my sheets so it doesn’t stain them. I apply every other day until I have achieved the shade I am looking for and then 1-2 times a week after that point to maintain. It’s important to moisture between applications as that will help your tan to not fade too quickly.

I also use the St. Tropez bronzing face lotion. I have very sensitive skin but haven’t had any issues with breakouts from use.

I don’t know about you but I am counting down the days until warm weather is here to stay in the Upstate. What are your favorite beauty products to use in preparation for summer?
