Hub City Farmers’ Markets 2018 “Peach Jam” To Be Held This Saturday

Peach season is here! We are celebrating!
The Peach Jam will take place June 16, 2017 from 6-10pm at Northside Harvest Park, 498 Howard St.  Teams will face off against one another for the best peach recipe and the opportunity to have their dish featured on the Monarch Cafe menu! The evening’s festivities will also include, drinks including peach wine and peach beer, a raffle, live music from Milgram’s 27 and children’s activities!
Hub City Farmers’ Market Executive Director Caroline Sexton remarked, “The history of peach farming in our county is rich and we are so excited to celebrate one of our favorite summer fruits, peaches, with the Upstate community!”
Tickets will be sold at the door for $1/ticket and all items sold will be priced individually by ticket amount.
All proceeds benefit the Hub City Farmers’ Market’s mission to increase supply, demand, and access to healthy, local food in Spartanburg County. In addition to the Saturday Market, the Hub City Farmers’ Market also operates an Urban Farm, a Mobile Market, and a Matching SNAP program.
