The Upstate’s largest collection of printmakers will be in one place this October.

The Contemporary Print Collective’s Annual Print Fair, a showcase of fine art prints, will be held October 26 through 28 at the Greenville Center for Creative Arts, 101 Abney Street, in the Village of West Greenville. This annual celebration will feature 20 artists and more than 500 prints for purchase.

In addition, event goers will get the opportunity to meet one-on-one with artists, discover printmaking techniques and learn ways to grow print collections. Prints include etchings, woodcuts, lithographs, monotypes and monoprints that can depict a wide range of imagery. The event is free to the public and will be open from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on October 26, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on October 27 and 12  p.m. to 5 p.m. on October 28.

“Entering our third year, our goal is to help people learn the beauty and artistry of print making,” said Patti Brady, event chairperson for the CPC and owner of Patti Brady studios. “The beauty of the event is that it shows off so many different styles of art that almost everyone can come in and find something that will speak to them.”

Artists who will be at the event include: Patti Brady, Steven Chapp, Katya Cohen, Addam Duncan, Marty Epp-Carter, Luis Jaramillo, Shaun McCallum, Sunny Mullarkey McGowan, Lindsay Louise McPhail, Vivian Morris, Madison Osborne, Jared Stanley, Freda Sue, Su Tamsett and Susan Staggs.

“This event is about celebrating the amazing printmaking talent right here in Greenville,” Steven Chapp, owner of Black Dog Press and Studio and the CPC’s vice chair.
