53rd Annual Freaky Friday hosted by Sara Collins Elementary and presented by the McCullough Foundation


In 1964, Al Sivewright established the Sara Collins Elementary School Freaky Friday Carnival. This year marks the 53rd Anniversary of this special community fundraising event that has helped raise money to support our school and students. This year’s Freaky Friday brings back popular games, food and rides!

The 53rd Annual Freaky Friday will include:
• More than three acres of carnival rides and booths;
• 20 booths: boardwalk games, ping pong fishing, rapid slide, photo booth, silly string, mash tent to name just a few;
• Super sports zone, including an obstacle course, laser tag and human hamster ball races;
• Bake sale, Chick-fil-A, TCBY, Papa John’s, Sno Time Snow Cones, and more;
• Silent auction tent where you can bid on themed baskets ranging from spa treatments and college sports to movies, jewelry, art by local artists, orthodontist services and more;
• Raffle drawing featuring a golf cart and iPad mini; and
• (Surprise!) Sara Collins 5th Graders FLASH MOB performance!

WHEN: Friday, October 6, 2017
3:30 to 6:30 pm

WHERE: Main campus – Greenville Technical College

COST: Admission is FREE and open to all ages, from toddler to adults! Students and families from other schools and/or homeschoolers are welcome!

WHY: 100 percent of the profits from Freaky Friday to go support the Sara Collins Elementary PTA general operating needs, school programming, teacher essentials, and wellness programs.
