Another festive week! We have 7 great events where you’ll find plenty of holiday cheer, like light shows galore, the national gingerbread competition in Asheville for a road trip or ice skating! You may even find a new family tradition!

-Monday, Dec. 18 The Christmas House 5:30-10 pm

-Tuesday, Dec. 19 Roper Mountain Holiday Lights 6-10pm

AGE RANGE: All Ages
Cost: $15 per car

-Wednesday, Dec. 20 Open Gym at Gymboree 8:30-9:30 am
REGISTRATION REQUIRED
AGE RANGE: up to 5 years old
Come on in and get to playing and get all those wiggles out no matter the weather!

-Thursday Dec. 21 Toddler Time at Chick Fil A Taylors 10-10:30am

There is a weekly fun and crafty experience waiting you and your kids, along with some of the best food and service around!

-Friday Dec. 22 The National Gingerbread Competition at the Grove Park Inn 9 am-8 pm

Cost: $20 to park for day, but event is free at hotel
Take a road trip to see one of the prettiest places for Christmas and see some amazing gingerbread houses.

-Saturday Dec. 23 Upstate Holiday Light Show at Greenville-Pickens Motor Speedway 5:45-10 pm
Cost: $20 per car
Bring the whole family to the biggest interactive LED light show in the Upstate!! Meet Santa at his workshop, Petting Zoo, Pony Corral & Ice Skating rink!

-Sunday Dec. 24 Skating on the Big Ice at Bon Secours Wellness Arena 1-4 pm

Erin Kornahrens
Erin Kornahrens is the managing Editor for Hulafrog in Greenville, SC. She went to Winthrop University for her undergraduate degree in Psychology and then got her Master's in Counseling at Columbia International University. She also is currently practicing therapy at a private practice in town. She has lived in Greenville for seven years now after returning to the upstate after going to school and living in Charleston for a few years after. She is married to Paul, mother of Emily, Caleb, and Bryce. She loves being active with her kids and finding out about the great things Greenville and the upstate has for them to do and sharing it. Erin is passionate about giving back and sharing these opportunities with her children and others as well. She also serves as a board member of Switch, which is an organization that educates and brings awareness and human trafficking and helps survivors get out of the life. Erin enjoys quiet time because it is so rare and traveling and trying out new things.
