Greenville Family Partnership (GFP) and Chris and Kelly’s HOPE Foundation are pleased to jointly host the annual Red Ribbon Classic Celebration & Auction in the Upstate.
On Sunday, April 29th at 5:00pm enjoy beverages and heavy hors devours while perusing the silent auction items in the Green Valley Country Club ballroom. Auction items include hotel stays, hand crafted corn hole boards, Yeti items, opportunities to go for a spin in a 2017 Chevrolet Camaro SS pacing car (with corvette engine), and much more! To donate an item to or participate in the auction, contact Karen Hyatt at 864.467.4099. Visit our Facebook event page or www.redribbonclassic.com for more information.
WYFF 4’s very own, Geoff Hart will once again be our emcee for the evening and will lead our live auction. We are also proud to announce that former Representative Eric Bedingfield, now serving the community as Greenville Technical College’s Government Affairs Liaison, will bring attention to the importance of raising awareness of youth substance use and community involvement.
This fun and beneficial event strives to bring awareness to the impact of the opioid epidemic in our community and country. Substance use and addiction does not discriminate and we want to continue to empower youth parents, and communities to have open and honest conversations about drugs and alcohol.
Both GFP and the Chris & Kelly HOPE Foundation will be the beneficiaries of this event. The funds will be used to educate, prevent, and support youth in navigating a culture in which drugs are an everyday way of life for many. The programs and services provided help youth and families make good decisions every day so that they may reach their potential and thrive.
